Recorded on LLGÕs ÒTIME SPACE& LLGÓ LP

She came with fruit andflowers

With a twinkle in her eyes,

She said she was glad to seeme,

Truly glad that I'd survived,

She does not read the papers,

She does not watch the news,

If she listens to anybroadcast

She really gets confused.

A spoonful of injustice

An ounce of stolen jam,

A pound of pain keeps yougoing

As it grinds you down

Oh! but it's good to knowwhat's happening

Just take your medicine,

No need to worry about ahome,

There are always streets orslums,

As she left, she kissed mycheek,

And told me to keep onsmiling

This is just another steppingstone

To the land we can rely on.
