Dear friends, thanks for the new CD - it is wonderful. So good to hear again your stunning guitar work Huw and I hope the CD is a success for you both - you both deserve it. This is a great return to form, which matches your steadily improving health Huw - which we are all so pleased about. It was lovely to see you both in May and I hope you go from strength to strength and that one day we will see you returning to playing on a track or three on some new Hawkwind material in the near future as well!!! In the meantime, thanks for the great music...long may you run my friends.

Hi Huw and Marion
Thanks for the CD , I have been listening to it while I am cutting out a block print.
Well I love the guitar work, and I realize that I have missed Huw's contribution of Vocals on more recent Hawkwind albums as well, as he seems to have been more featured on albums like Choose your masques, Chronicles , Levitation. I love Huws voice over his Soaring guitar, like on A Dream, beautiful. You get a great selection of mood's and then you get these magnificent Blues tracks at the end. WONDERFULL.
Well thanks again, the CD will be played first thing in the morning for the rest of the week, while I’m inking up.
All the very best

Album arrived the other day and I have been playing it constantly. Just a few thoughts about it. As soon as you play it you know it is a HLL album by the guitar sound. Sheer quality. Still got it despite the problems of the last few years. All the songs are quality but for me Hello Friend and A Dream are stand out tracks but my personal favourite is My Eyes See Only The Sea. Having said that I also think the three blues tracks are absolutely sensational but the only problem is they are slightly too short. They come as a complete surprise and contrast to the album but are really enjoyable. This is easily the best album I have heard for a few years and I hope it does really well for you. cheers ron

I've just read that Huw & LLG will be playing Hawkfest in August. Great news.
His LLG set at Leamington Spa was nothing short of magnificent! His playing was superb and the sound from where I was standing was amazing. What a treat to hear him play Psychedelic Warlords. A wonderful gig that will remain in my memory as one of the best of many gigs I have been to.
It's great to see Huw back in such good form. Long may he continue.
All the very best to you.
See you in August.

Hi Huw
Great to see you well and back on the road! I have been watching and listening in admiration for over 30 years now; you are without doubt, the greatest guitarist of your generation. As someone said earlier, the sound gets inside you and never lets go!
I've met you twice very briefly. In the 'Jacobs Well' with Harvey, just before a gig in Bradford circa 81 and as you came offstage at Hawkfest 03. An honour on both occasions.
Looking forward to the album and catching you live before the year is out.
Take care,
Simon

Now is a good time to be a Huw fan (anytime is good really). The current rereleases of old Hawk stuff by Cherryred feature his best contributions IMHO. I just got Sonic Attack, a masterpiece when originally released but this has demos and extended versions of songs where Huw lets rip, I can't wait for Choose Your Masques, just for a few extra notes from Huw, Yes I am that big a fan. I was very lucky to meet him ata the Hawkwind gig at Limelight Belfast 2004 and being in such awe of the man I was so nervous but he was totally down to earth and talked to me, well listened to me for 20 mins. I was able to tell him about how his solo to Psychadelic Warlords at Ham Odeon London 1984 reduced me to tears, an experience I will never forget. That meant a lot to me. All the best of Irish luck to you and Marion, Huw and look forward to Spa gig.
